Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1760884 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the accelerator pedal module (APM) connector locking tab from the APM connector.
  3. Disconnect the APM connector.

    4. Object Number: 1760885 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolts, three places, attaching the APM from the accelerator and brake pedal module bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1760885 Size: SH
  1. Install the APM retaining bolts to the accelerator and brake pedal module bracket and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

    2. Object Number: 1760884 Size: SH
  2. Connect the APM connector and the install the locking tab firmly.
