Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1768939 Size: SH

    Note: Hold the link with a wrench during nut removal.

  2. Remove the stabilizer link to stabilizer shaft nuts.

    3. Object Number: 1768942 Size: SH
  3. Remove the stabilizer shaft clamp bolts.
  4. Remove the stabilizer shaft from the stabilizer link ball studs, while removing the stabilizer shaft from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1768942 Size: SH
  1. Position the stabilizer shaft in the vehicle, while installing the links on the stabilizer shaft.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the stabilizer shaft clamp bolts and tighten to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 1768939 Size: SH

    Note: Hold the link with a wrench during nut installation.

  3. Install the stabilizer link to stabilizer shaft nuts and tighten to 57 N·m (42 lb ft).
  4. Lower the vehicle.
