Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1768942 Size: SH
  2. Loosen the stabilizer shaft clamp bolts.

    3. Object Number: 1768939 Size: SH

    Note: When disconnecting the stabilizer link, hold the link with a wrench to prevent turning.

  3. Remove the stabilizer link to stabilizer shaft nut.

    4. Object Number: 1768921 Size: SH

    Note: When disconnecting the stabilizer link, hold the link with a wrench to prevent turning.

  4. Remove the stabilizer link to lower control arm nut.
  5. Remove the stabilizer link from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1768921 Size: SH
  1. Position the stabilizer link through the lower control arm.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

    Note: When connecting the stabilizer link, hold the link with a wrench to prevent turning.

  2. Install the stabilizer link to control arm nut and tighten to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 1768939 Size: SH
  3. Install the stabilizer link to stabilizer shaft nut and tighten to 57 N·m (42 lb ft).

    4. Object Number: 1768942 Size: SH
  4. Tighten the stabilizer shaft clamp bolts and tighten to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
