Removal Procedure

    Note: Left-Hand Drive Shown, Right-Hand Drive Similar.


    Object Number: 1822296 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel lower left trim. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side.
  2. Remove the screws and bolts.
  3. Remove the driver knee bolster.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1822296 Size: SH
  1. Install the driver knee bolster with the screws and bolts. Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (23 lb in) and tighten the bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
  2. Install the instrument panel lower left trim. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side.
