Removal Procedure
- Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to
Drive Belt Replacement.
Note: Repairing a damaged accessory drive belt pulley should not be attempted under any circumstances.
Note: The accessory drive belt tensioner pulley is not serviced separately. If the pulley is found to be faulty, the entire tensioner assembly must be replaced.
- Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner.
- Disconnect the breather hose and positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from the cylinder head cover.
Installation Procedure
- Install the accessory drive belt tensioner assembly (1).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Install the accessory drive belt tensioner bolts (2) and tighten to
50 N·m (37 lb ft).
- Connect the breather hose and PCV hose.
- Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to
Drive Belt Replacement.
