- Clean the valve rocker arm cover in a commercially available cleaning fluid and dry using compressed air.
- Inspect the ventilation system passages for restriction, clean as required.
- Inspect the cover gasket groove for damage.
- Inspect the ignition coil mounting boss threads for damage.
