Inspect fuse EF11 and F15.

Are either of the fuses EF11 or F15 open?

Go to Step 2

  1. Inspect for a short circuit and repair it, if necessary.
  2. Replace the open fuses.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

  1. Turn on the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Use a voltmeter to Measure the battery voltage available at fuses EF11 and F15.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

11-14 V

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair the open power supply circuit for the fuse.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

--

  1. Turn on the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Use a voltmeter to Measure the battery voltage available at the clock connector terminal 4.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

11-14 V

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Repair the open circuit between the clock connector terminal 4 and fuse F15.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--

Turn on the ignition, with the engine OFF.

Is the battery voltage available at the clock connector terminal 3?

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 8

Repair the open circuit between the clock connector terminal 3 and fuse EF11.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

Check the continuity between the clock connector terminal 1 and ground.

Is the continuity near the specified value?

0 ohms

Go to Step 10

Replace the clock. Refer to Clock Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open ground circuit between the clock connector terminal 1 and ground G202.

Is the repair complete?
