Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1372459 Size: SH
  1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement.
  2. Remove the engine control module (ECM) bracket nuts.

    3. Object Number: 1372457 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the ECM connector.
  4. Remove the ECM retaining nuts and the ECM.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1372458 Size: SH
  1. Install the ECM and the retaining nuts and tighten to 12 N·m (106 lb in).
  2. Connect the ECM connector.

    3. Object Number: 1372459 Size: SH
  3. Tighten the ECM bracket nuts and tighten to 12 N·m (106 lb in).
  4. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement.
