Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor Wire Repair Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1372460 Size: SH
  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief.

    2. Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the fuel filter protector located on the underbody.

  4. Disconnect the rear fuel feeding tube connector and the rear filter tube connector.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1372462 Size: SH
  1. Connect the rear fuel feeding tube connector and the rear fuel filter tube connector.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the fuel filter protector with the retaing bolt and tighten to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
  4. Perform a leak test of the fuel filter.
