Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375573 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the oil filter.

    3. Object Number: 1375574 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil filter adapter retaining bolts and oil filter adapter.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375575 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil filter adapter using the retaining bolts and tighten to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

    2. Object Number: 1375576 Size: SH
  2. Install the oil filter and tighten to 14 N·m (124 lb in).
