Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1375163 Size: SH
  1. Remove the vacuum hose.
  2. Remove the intake manifold tuning (IMT) valve solenoid. Refer to Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Actuator Solenoid Replacement.
  3. Remove the IMT vacuum tank.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375175 Size: SH
  1. Install the IMT vacuum tank using the retaining bolts and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
  2. Install the IMT solenoid. Refer to Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Actuator Solenoid Replacement.
  3. Install the vacuum hose.
