Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1679505 Size: SH
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the off position.
  2. Disconnect the electronic throttle control (ETC) connector from the accelerator pedal.

    3. Object Number: 1679506 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 3 accelerator pedal retaining bolts.
  4. Remove the accelerator pedal.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1679506 Size: SH
  1. Position the accelerator pedal.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 3 accelerator pedal retaining nuts and tighten.
    3. • The upper accelerator pedal retaining bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in)
    • The lower accelerator pedal retaining bolt to 23 N·m (17 lb ft)
  3. Connect the ETC connector to the accelerator pedal.
