The courtesy lamp is located on the headliner and has 3 positions. If the switch is in the center position, the lamp will go ON whenever a door is opened and go OFF when it is closed. In the ON position, the lamp will stay ON until it is turned OFF. In the OFF position, the lamp will not come ON, even when a door is opened.

An illuminated vanity mirror is on the back of each sun visor. The sun visors contain an internal switch. When the mirror cover is opened, the switch is closed and the vanity mirror bulbs illuminate. When the cover is closed, the switch is opened and the vanity mirror bulbs turn OFF.

An ashtray lamp is mounted above the ashtray. An illumination ring lamp is mounted around the cigar lighter. Both lamps come ON when the parking lamps or the headlamps are ON.

The luggage compartment lamp is under the deck lid sill plate. It comes ON whenever the luggage compartment is opened.

The Automatic Lights Off feature turns off the headlamps, park lamps, taillamps, license plate lamps and instrument panel Illumination within seconds of colsing the drive’s door. The feature activates if you leave the headlamps switch in the first or second position, remove the key, and get out of the car.
