Removal Procedure
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
- Remove the rear wheels.
- Remove the rear strut lower nut-to-knuckle.
- Remove the rear seat and rear strut upper nut-to-body. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Hinge Replacement.
Installation Procedure
- Install the rear strut with upper nut-to-body and rear seat and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft). Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Hinge Replacement.
- Install the rear strut with lower nut-to-knuckle and tighten to 90 N·m (66 lb ft).
