Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1256826 Size: SH
  1. Remove the door seal trim. Refer to Door Bottom Auxiliary Sealing Strip Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the outside door handle and the lock rods.
  3. Remove the bolts and the door handle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256826 Size: SH
  1. Connect the outside door handle and the lock rods.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the door handle with the bolts and tighten to 4.5 N·m (40 lb in).
  3. Install the door seal trim. Refer to Door Bottom Auxiliary Sealing Strip Replacement.
