Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1256905 Size: SH
  1. Open the luggage compartment.
  2. Remove the luggage compartment rear lower cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement.
  3. Remove the bolts securing the lock striker.
  4. Pull the lock striker out.
  5. Disconnect the lock release cable from the lock striker.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256905 Size: SH
  1. Connect the lock release cable.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the lock striker with the bolts and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
  3. Install the luggage compartment rear lower cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement.
