Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1860081 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Disconnect the transmission control module (TCM) wiring connectors.
  3. Remove the TCM and nuts.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1860081 Size: SH
  1. Install the TCM retaining nuts and tighten to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
