  1. Install the 2 third gear band apply tube O-ring seals (53).
  2. Install the third gear band apply tube (52).
  3. If needed, lightly seat the third gear band apply tube into the transmission case assembly with a soft mallet.

    4. Object Number: 749384 Size: SH
  4. Install the third gear band apply tube retainer (51).

    5. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  5. Install the 2 - M6 x 1.0 x 14 mm third gear band apply tube retainer bolts (50) and tighten to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
