Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1256912 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the theft deterrent alarm electrical connector.
  3. Remove the theft deterrent alarm bracket mounting bolt.
  4. Remove the theft deterrent alarm.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1256912 Size: SH
  1. Install the theft deterrent alarm bracket with the mounting bolt and tighten to 11 N·m (97 lb in). Make sure that the theft deterrent alarm bracket mounting bolt also fastens the auxiliary fan relay.
  2. Connect the theft deterrent alarm electrical connector.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
