Accessory Belt Remover/Installer |
Removal Procedure
- Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to
Drive Belt Replacement.
- Remove the tensioner using by
EN-48300
.
Installation Procedure
Note: Use care not to drop or over-rotate the tensioner with tools.
Note: When the tensioner is properly installed by hand, the tensioner dowel pin (1) is not aligned with the tensioner dowel pin hole (2).
- Install the tensioner bolt by hand.
- Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to
Drive Belt Replacement.
- Install the
EN-48253
to the tension lever guide and rotate the tensioner counterclockwise.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
Note: The tensioner dowel pin (1) is inserted into the tensioner dowel pin hole (2).
- Install the tensioner using
EN-48300
. Tighten the tensioner retaining bolt to
48 N·m (35.4 lb ft).
- Remove
EN-48952
using
EN-48253
.
