Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1822512 Size: SH
  1. Remove the PCV valve. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Replacement.
  2. Remove the turbocharger heat shield. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement.
  3. Remove the PCV valve adapter with the adapter gasket.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1822512 Size: SH
  1. Install the PCV valve adapter with a new gasket and bolts and tighten to 11 N·m (97.4  lb in).
  2. Install the turbocharger heat shield. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement.
  3. Install the PCV valve. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Replacement.
