Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2017390 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the remote function actuator (RFA) module electrical connector (4).

    3. Important: To remove the RFA module (1) release the two retaining tabs (1) and unclip the locating clip (3).

  3. Remove the RFA module (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2017390 Size: SH

    Important: When replacing an RFA module (2), make sure the correct module for the vehicle application has been supplied.

    Important: To install the RFA module (2) first insert the locating clip (3) and engage the two retaining tabs (1), listen for an audible click to confirm fitting.

  1. Install the RFA module (2) to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the RFA module electrical connector (4).
  3. Install the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
  4. Program the RFA module (2). Refer to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver and Theft Deterrent Module Programming and Setup.
  5. Operate the keyless entry for correct operation.
