The communication interface module button assembly on the inside rearview mirror assembly consists of 3 buttons, Information/End Call, Holden Assist and Emergency. The button assembly on the inside rearview mirror assembly also has three status Light Emitting Diodes (LED), Green, Red and Orange. The function of each is as follows:
• | Flashing Green: Call is in progress. |
• | Steady Green: System is on and self test has been completed. |
• | Steady Red: System is on and self test has detected a malfuntion. |
• | Steady Orange: Vehicle is not in the coverage area. This is emphasised by 5 beeps when the ignition is switched off to inform the driver that the vehicle is about to be left in a "shadow" location that is untraceable by the Telematics Call Center. |
• | Red and Green Lights Flashing: telematics is in Service mode. Press the Holden Assist button to request this mode be disabled. |
• | Ignition is in the RUN or ACC position. |
• | System voltage is between 9 and 16 volts. |
The communication interface module sets a DTC.
• | The condition for setting the DTC is no longer present. |
• | The history DTC will clear after 50 fault-free ignition cycles. |
