Electrical Information Reference

1. Preform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle.
2. Preform the battery inspection/test Battery Inspection/Test.



3. Connect a DMM to the battery record reading.



4. Connect a DMM set to volts between the positive battery cable (1) at starter motor and a known ground (2).

⇒	If voltage varies more than 1 volt from the battery voltage check circuit for open/high resistance.




5. Connect a DMM set to volts between the starter motor solenoid supply cable (1) and a known ground (2)
6. Turn key to start position. If voltage varies more than 1 volt from the battery voltage check circuit for open/high resistance.
7. If the voltage is within range replace starter motor.
