Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to
Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
- Remove the rear seat back bolster. Refer to
Rear Seat Back Replacement
.
- Remove the rear sill trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement.
Important: When removing the body lock pillar lower
trim take care not to damage the locating pins.
- Partially remove the rear door weatherstrip to gain access behind the body lock
pillar lower trim (3).
- With a suitable tool pry the body lock pillar lower trim clips (4)
away from the vehicle body (5).
- With a suitable tool pry the body lock pillar lower trim (2) away
from the body lock pillar (1).
- Remove the body lock pillar trim (3).
Installation Procedure
Important: When installing the body lock pillar lower
trim (3) ensure the retaining clips (4) and the locating pins are correctly
aligned with the cavities in the vehicle body lock pillar (1).
- Install the body lock pillar lower trim (3).
Important: Make sure the lip of the weatherstrip sits
over the trim panels.
- Install the removed portion of the rear door weatherstrip.
- Install the rear sill trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement.
- Install the rear seat back bolster. Refer to
Rear Seat Back Replacement.
- Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to
Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
