With the ignition in either the ACC position or the ON position the rear seat entertainment (RSE) interface module continuously sends a communication signal to the rear seat entertainment (RSE) control panel. Upon receiving the signal, the RSE control panel sends a reply signal, confirming that it can communicate. DTC U2202 will set to indicate the RSE control panel has not received a communication signal or replied when the RSE interface module has requested operation.
DTC U2202 runs continuously once a valid RSE control panel response occurs.
The RSE interface module does not receive a response from the RSE control panel after 3 consecutive communication attempts.
The rear seat entertainment system fails to operate.
• | The current DTC will clear when the RSE interface module receives a communication reply from the RSE control panel. |
• | The history DTC will clear after 50 fault-free ignition cycles have occurred. |
