Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle prior to using this diagnostic procedure.
The electronic brake control module (EBCM) must be calibrated/programmed or has an internal fault and requires replacement.
• | The ignition is ON. |
• | Ignition voltage is between 9 and 16 volts. |
The EBCM has not been calibrated or has an internal fault.
• | The EBCM disables the ABS and the TCS for the duration of the ignition cycle |
• | The ABS fault indicator on the driver information centre (DIC) is activated. |
• | The condition responsible for setting the DTC no longer exists. |
• | The EBCM automatically clears the history DTC when a current DTC is not detected in 100 consecutive drive cycles. |
• | The DTC can be cleared using a scan tool. |
