Cargo Lamp Replacement HSV Maloo

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.




1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Using a suitable tool, disengage and remove the cargo lamp lens (1).



3. Remove the cargo lamp assembly retainer screws (2) and cargo lamp assembly (1).



4. Disconnect the cargo lamp electrical connector (1) and remove the bulb holder (2) from the cargo lamp assembly (3) by twisting it anti-clockwise.
5. Remove the bulb (4) by twisting it out of the bulb holder (2) in an anti clockwise direction.

1. Install the bulb (4) into the bulb holder (2) in a clockwise direction.
2. Install the bulb holder (2) into the cargo lamp assembly (3) by twisting it-in a clockwise direction.
3. Connect the cargo lamp electrical connector (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




4. Install the cargo lamp assembly (1) and cargo lamp retaining screws (2).

Tighten
Tighten the cargo lamp retaining screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).




5. Install the cargo lamp lens (1).
6. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
7. Test the cargo lamp for correct operation.
