Front Fog Lamp Bulb Replacement HSV Maloo

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the front driving lamp. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement .



3. Detach the driving lamp bulb cover (1) by rotating counter-clockwise.



4. Disconnect the driving lamp electrical connector (1).
5. Release the driving lamp bulb retaining spring (3) and remove the driving lamp bulb (2).

Caution: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the front driving lamp bulb (2) and secure in position with the front driving lamp bulb retaining spring (3).
2. Connect the driving lamp electrical connector (1).



3. Install the driving lamp bulb cover (1) by rotating clockwise.
4. Install the front driving lamp. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement .
5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

Front Fog Lamp Bulb Replacement Except HSV Maloo

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
3. Remove the air deflector from the front end of the vehicle. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .



4. Disconnect the fog lamp bulb assembly electrical connector (1) from the fog lamp assembly (2).



5. Remove the fog lamp bulb assembly (1) from the fog lamp assembly (2) by rotating the bulb assembly countercockwise.

Important: When replacing the fog lamp bulb do not handle the quartz envelope of the fog lamp bulb. Wipe the quartz envelope immediately with methylated spirits if it is touched accidentally or the performance of the bulb will deteriorate.

1. Install the front fog lamp bulb assembly (1) to the fog lamp assembly (2) and rotate it clockwise to secure.



2. Connect the fog lamp bulb assembly electrical connector (1) to the fog lamp assembly (2).
3. Install the air deflector to the front end of the vehicle. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
4. Lower the vehicle.

5. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
6. Adjust the fog lamps. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming .
