Removal Procedure - (Omega)
  1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  3. Remove the infotainment unit. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  4. Remove the centre console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .

  5. Remove the coin holder upper retaining screws (5).
  6. Remove the coin holder (1) from the centre console (3).
  7. Remove the park brake recess tray upper retaining screw (2).
  8. Remove the recess trim (4) from the centre console (3).

  9. Remove the I/P centre trim panel to I/P retaining screws (1).
  10. Remove the I/P centre trim panel to I/P retaining screws (2).

    11. Object Number: 2024413 Size: SH

    Important: Step 11 is only to be performed for vehicles fitted with an automatic transmission.

  11. Remove the I/P centre trim panel to floor shift selector retaining screws (1).

    12. Object Number: 2017897 Size: SH

    Important: Step 12 is only to be performed for vehicles fitted with a manual transmission.

  12. Remove the I/P centre trim panel to floor shift selector retaining screws (2).

    13. Object Number: 2024420 Size: SH

    Important: Use care when detaching the I/P centre trim panel (2) from the I/P (3). Failure to do so may result in damage to the I/P centre trim panel to I/P locating pins (1).

  13. Detach the I/P centre trim panel (2) from the I/P (3).
  14. Remove the I/P centre trim panel (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure - (Omega)

    Object Number: 2024420 Size: SH
  1. Install the I/P centre trim panel (2) to the I/P (3).

    2. Important: Make sure the I/P centre trim panel to I/P locating pins (1) are correctly aligned with the I/P (3) when attaching the I/P centre trim panel (2) to the I/P (3). Failure to do so may result in damage to the I/P centre trim panel to I/P locating pins (1).

  2. Attach the I/P centre trim panel (2) to the I/P (3).

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2024413 Size: SH

    Important: Step 3 is only to be performed for vehicles fitted with an automatic transmission.

  3. Install the I/P centre trim panel to floor shift selector retaining screws (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2  N·m (18 lb in).


    Object Number: 2017897 Size: SH

    Important: Step 4 is only to be performed for vehicles fitted with a manual transmission.

  4. Install the I/P centre trim panel to floor shift selector retaining screws (2).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the I/P centre trim panel to I/P retaining screws (1).

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the I/P centre trim panel to I/P retaining screws (2).

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the coin holder (1) to the centre console (3).
  8. Install the coinholder upper retaining screws (5).

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  9. Install the park brake recess trim (4) to the centre console (3).
  10. Install the park brake recess trim upper retaining screw (2).

    11. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  11. Install the infotainment unit. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  12. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  13. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  14. Install the centre console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .

Removal Procedure - (SV6, SS and SS-V)
  1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  3. Remove the infotainment unit. Refer to Customer Concern Verification Sheets .
  4. Remove the centre console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .

  5. Remove the coin holder upper retaining screws (5).
  6. Remove the coin holder (1) from the centre console (3).
  7. Remove the park brake recess tray upper retaining screw (2).
  8. Remove the recess trim (4) from the centre console (3).

    9. Object Number: 1957755 Size: SH
  9. Remove the upper I/P centre trim panel to I/P pad retaining screws (1).

    10. Object Number: 2017899 Size: SH
  10. Remove the I/P centre trim panel to I/P retaining screws (1).
  11. Remove the I/P centre trim panel to I/P retaining screws (2).
  12. Remove the I/P centre trim panel to centre console retaining screws (3).

    13. Object Number: 2021900 Size: SH

    Important: Use care when detaching the I/P centre trim panel (2) from the I/P (3). Failure to do so may result in damage to the I/P centre trim panel to I/P locating pins (1).

  13. Detach the I/P centre trim panel (2) from the I/P (3).

    14. Important: Lift the trim panel upward and rearward to detach the I/P centre trim panel (2) from the I/P (3).

  14. Detach the I/P centre trim panel (1) from the I/P (3)

    15. Position the I/P centre trim panel (1) rearward of the I/P (3).

  15. Disconnect the multi function display unit electrical connector (2).
  16. Remove the I/P centre trim panel (1).

Installation Procedure - (SV6, SS and SS-V)

    Object Number: 2024423 Size: SH
  1. Position the I/P centre trim panel (1) in the vehicle.
  2. Connect the multi function display unit electrical connector (2).

    3. Object Number: 2021900 Size: SH

    Important: Make sure the I/P centre trim panel to I/P locating pins (1) are correctly aligned with the I/P (3) when attaching the I/P centre trim panel (2) to the I/P (3). Failure to do so may result in damage to the I/P centre trim panel to I/P locating pins (1).

  3. Attach the I/P centre trim panel (2) to the I/P (3).

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the I/P centre trim panel to I/P retaining screws (1).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the I/P centre trim panel to I/P retaining screws (2).

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the I/P centre trim panel to centre console retaining screws (3).

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the upper I/P centre trim panel to I/P pad retaining screws (1).

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the screws (1) to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the coinholder (1) to the centre console (3).
  9. Install the coinholder upper retaining screws (5).

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  10. Install the park brake recess trim (4) to the centre console (3).
  11. Install the park brake recess trim upper retaining screw (2).

    12. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  12. Install the infotainment unit. Refer to Customer Concern Verification Sheets .
  13. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  14. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  15. Install the centre console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .
