Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.
Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
- Remove the engine splash shield. Refer to
Engine Splash Shield Replacement.
- Remove the engine mount to front subframe retaining nuts (1).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Position the
EN 46114 (2) on the
engine (1).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the
EN 46114 to cylinder head
retaining bolts (3).
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (36 lb ft).
Important: When lifting the engine assembly, observe
the clearance between the rear of the engine assembly and the dash panel.
- Use a suitable engine lifting tool to raise the engine until the weight of the
engine is removed from the right hand engine mount.
- Remove the right hand engine mount to engine mount bracket retaining nut (4).
Important: If required raise the engine further to provide
adequate space.
Important: When lifting the engine assembly, observe
the clearance between the rear of the engine assembly and the dash panel.
Important: DO NOT distort or bend the right hand engine
mount heat shield (3).
- Remove the right hand engine mount (2) from the right hand engine mount
bracket (1).
Installation Procedure
Important: DO NOT distort or bend the right hand engine
mount heat shield (3).
- Position the right hand engine mount (2) on the right hand engine mount
bracket (1).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the right hand engine mount to engine mount bracket retaining nut (4).
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).
- Lower the engine until the weight is resting on the right hand engine
mount.

- Raise the vehicle.
- Install the engine mount to front subframe retaining
nuts (1).
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).
- Install the engine splash shield. Refer to
Engine Splash Shield Replacement.
- Lower the vehicle to the ground.
- Remove the
EN 46114 to cylinder head retaining
bolts (3).
- Remove the
EN 46114 (2) from
the engine (1).
