Makes 🢒 Holden 🢒 2009 🢒 VE Ute 🢒 Body Repair 🢒 Bolted Exterior Body Panels and Closures 🢒 Endgate Applique Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the endgate liner. Refer to Pickup Box Endgate Liner Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 2008490 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the endgate applique electrical connector (3).
  3. Remove the endgate applique to endgate retaining nuts (2).
  4. Disengage the endgate applique retaining clips (1) and detach the endgate applique from the endgate.

    5. Object Number: 2037780 Size: SH
  5. Push the endgate applique grommet (2) through the endgate panel.

    6. Important: Ensure that both of the endgate applique retaining clips (4) are detached.

  6. Remove the endgate applique (3) from the endgate (1) ensuring to thread the wiring harness and connector (2) through the endgate access hole.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2037780 Size: SH
  1. Push the endgate applique electrical harness and grommet (2) through the endgate panel.
  2. Install the endgate applique (3) to the endgate (1).

    3. Object Number: 2008490 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure the endgate applique retaining clips (1) engage correctly.

  3. Attach the endgate applique to the endgate.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the endgate applique to endgate retaining nuts (2).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 2 N·m (18 lb ft)

  5. Connect the endgate applique electrical connector (3).
  6. Install the endgate liner. Refer to Pickup Box Endgate Liner Replacement .
