Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1877028 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Disconnect the transmission control module (TCM) wiring connectors.
  3. Remove the TCM and nuts.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1877028 Size: SH
  1. Install the TCM retaining nuts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the TCM retaining nuts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
