Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1963153 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the glow plug control unit.
  3. Remove the glow plug control unit retaining nut.
  4. Remove the glow plug control unit.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1963153 Size: SH
  1. Install the glow plug control unit.
  2. the glow plug control unit retaining nut.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the glow plug control unit retaining nut to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  3. Connect the glow plug control unit connector.
  4. Install the negative battery cable.
