For 1990-2009 cars only
- Install the line pressure measurement plug and tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
- Install the baffle plate with the baffle plate bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the oil filter with the oil filter bolt and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the paper gasket.
- Install the metal gasket.
- Install the torque converter housing.
- Install the torque converter bolts and hand tighten in the following order: 7, 20, 12, 16, and 4.
- Final tighten the bolts to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).
- Hand tighten the remaining bolts in the following order: 15, 3, 14, 5, 13, 22, 11, 21, 10, 9, 19, 8, 18, 17, 6, 1, and 2.
- Final tighten all the bolts to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).
