DT 46470 (DW260-030) Differential Oil Seal Installer

Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the drive axles. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement.

Note: Do NOT damage the bore of the transaxle case.

3. Remove the transaxle drive seal using a flat-bladed tool. If necessary, crush the seal first in order to loosen the seal from the case.

1. Use DT 46470  (1) to install the transaxle drive seal.
2. Install the drive axles. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
