Display Screen
The rear display screen shows video from either DVD movies, or an AUX input device, such as a video game console or camera. The display screen will turn on when pulled down, and automatically turn off when pushed up and closed.
AUX Inputs
The auxiliary input jack, located in the DVD control panel in the roof pod, contains the socket for the 3.5 mm type AV auxiliary input plug. A number of devices may be plugged into the AUX jacks, including, but not limited to video game consoles, digital cameras, camcorders, or other devices. Audio only devices can also be played through the 3.5 mm auxiliary jack.
3.5 mm type AV cables are needed to connect the auxiliary device to the Auxiliary Input jacks. Refer to the manufacturers instructions for proper connection of your auxiliary device.
To use the auxiliary inputs on the DVD player, connect an external auxiliary device to the 3.5 mm auxiliary input jack and turn both the auxiliary input jack and DVD player power on. If the DVD player was previously in the DVD player mode, you will need to press the MODE button on the DVD player or the DVD remote control. The display will appear on the Video Screen. Pressing the MODE button will toggle the Rear Entertainment between the auxiliary device and the DVD player.
The auxiliary input video format is preset to NTSC. In some cases, the video format may be in PAL system. The DVD player will detect the video format and set the Video Screen automatically.
Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) (OPTION)
The rear seat entertainment (RSE) is integrated into headliner audio controls. Audio, video source and speaker control are controlled by the amplifier and infotainment unit through serial data communication. The rear seat entertainment (RSE) system includes an RSE interface module, a DVD player, a video display screen, a DVD control panel, 2 wireless headphones, and a remote control.
Wireless Headphones (OPTION)
Wireless headphones are optional and allow for rear seat passengers to use the rear seat entertainment (RSE) functions without disturbing the listening of front seat passengers. The wireless headphones receive audio signals from the infrared (IR) transmitters on the overhead console. This transmission is line of sight only, so audio quality will be degraded if anything blocks the transmitter signal from reaching the headphones.
To use wireless headphones, turn them on using the power button on the headphone earpiece. Adjust volume using the rotary dial.

Wired Headphone Jacks (Type F Infotainment System)
The underside of each front seat head restraint is equipped with a 3.5 mm jack for wired headphones. The headphones can be used to listen to the rear seat entertainment (RSE) system.
To use the wired headphones, plug the headphones into the jacks. Volume adjustments can be made via the control on the tri-zone HVAC and RSE control panel.
