Removal Procedure - Front

    Notice: Refer to General Repair Instructions in the Preface section.

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.

    2. Object Number: 1939328 Size: SH

    Important: The headliner can be easily damaged or discoloured. Use care when working in the area of the headliner.

  2. Grasp the front of the dome lamp assembly (1) and carefully pull away from the headlining assembly.
  3. Slide the dome lamp assembly (1) in a forward motion to allow the two locator arms to clear the headlining.

  4. Disconnect the dome lamp assembly electrical connector (1).
  5. Disconnect the bluetooth connection (1) from the dome lamp assembly (3).
  6. Remove the dome lamp assembly (3).

Installation Procedure - Front

    Object Number: 1939325 Size: SH
  1. Connect the dome lamp assembly electrical connector (1).
  2. Connect the bluetooth connection (1) dome lamp assembly (3).

    3. Object Number: 1939307 Size: SH
  3. Insert the two locating arms into the headlining assembly.
  4. Carefully push the dome lamp assembly (1) into the headlining assembly.
  5. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  6. Test dome lamp assembly for the correct operation.

Removal Procedure - Rear (without Rear Seat Entertainment)

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.

    2. Object Number: 1946902 Size: SH

    Important: The headliner can be easily damaged or discoloured. Use care when working in the area of the headliner.

  2. Using a suitable tool, gently pry the front of the dome lamp assembly (1) down and lower the front of the assembly.
  3. Pivot the lamp assembly down and pull the assembly forward to clear the rear locking arms (3).
  4. Disconnect the dome lamp assembly electrical connector (2) and remove the dome lamp assembly.

Installation Procedure - Rear (without Rear Seat Entertainment)

    Object Number: 1946900 Size: SH
  1. Connect the dome lamp assembly electrical connector (2).
  2. Position the dome lamp assembly rear locking arms (3) into the headliner and pivot the front of the lamp assembly (1) up and into the headliner.
  3. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  4. Check all vehicle lights for correct operation.

Removal Procedure - Rear (with Rear Seat Entertainment)

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.

    2. Object Number: 1946904 Size: SH

    Important: The headliner can be easily damaged or discoloured. Use care when working in the area of the headliner.

  2. Pull down on the left or right hand edge of the dome lamp assembly (1), using only your fingers.
  3. Pull the lamp down and clear of the rear seat entertainment assembly.
  4. Disconnect the dome lamp assembly electrical connector and remove the dome lamp assembly.

Installation Procedure - Rear (with Rear Seat Entertainment)

    Object Number: 1946905 Size: SH
  1. Connect the dome lamp assembly electrical connector.
  2. Position the dome lamp assembly (1) with one side into the rear seat entertainment assembly and gently push the other side of the lamp assembly up and into the headliner.
  3. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  4. Check all vehicle lights for correct operation.
