  1. Select the V (DC) position (3) on the Digital Multimeter (1) .
  2. Connect the positive lead (4) of the Digital Multimeter (1) to one point of the circuit to be tested.
  3. Connect the negative lead (6) of the Digital Multimeter (1) to the other point of the circuit.
  4. Turn the switch (5) to the ON position to operate the circuit.
  5. The Digital Multimeter (1) displays the difference in voltage between the 2 points (2).
