Remote Control Door Lock Receiver and Theft Deterrent Module Replacement o

1. Remove the rear window shelf. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.



2. Disconnect the remote function actuator (RFA) (1) electrical connector (2).

Notice: Refer to General Repair Instructions in the Preface section.




3. Remove the RFA by releasing the two retaining tangs (1) and removing it from the rear window shelf.

1. Install the RFA by inserting the retaining tang (1) first and snap fitting the other two retaining tangs (2) listen for an audible click to confirm fitting.



2. Connect the RFA (1) electrical connector (2).
3. Install the rear window shelf. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Program the RFA. Refer to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver and Theft Deterrent Module Programming and Setup.
5. Operate the keyless entry for correct operation.
