The rear seat entertainment (RSE) interface module is used to communicate between all the infotainment units equipped on the vehicle.
Ignition voltage is between 9-16 volts.
When the RSE interface module has recognised an internal fault.
This code will set as current when the RSE interface module recognises an internal fault or fails to communicate with the BCM. DTC B101D indicates that the RSE interface module has had an internal fault and is not affected by any external circuits.
• | The DTC becomes history when the conditions for setting the DTC are no longer present. |
• | The history DTC clears after 40 fault-free ignition cycles. |
• | The DTC can be cleared using the scan tool. |

When the ignition is turned ON, the radio performs a self test to verify if any critical malfunction exists within the system.
This DTC runs continuously
The module has detected an internal electrical malfunction.
Radio functions are disabled

When the ignition is turned ON, the navigation interface module (NIM) performs a self test to verify if any critical malfunction exists within the system.
This DTC runs continuously
The module has detected an internal electrical malfunction.
This code will set as current when the NIM recognises an internal fault or fails to communicate with the BCM.
