Makes 🢒 Holden 🢒 2009 🢒 WM Sedan 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, or 7.0L 🢒 Crankshaft Balancer Replacement

Tools Required

    • J 41816-A Crankshaft Balancer Remover
    • J 41816-2 Crankshaft End Protector
    • J 42386-A Flywheel Holding Tool
    • J 41665 Crankshaft Balancer and Sprocket Installer

Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Remove the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement.
  3. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory.
  4. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) drive belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement.
  5. Remove the starter motor. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement.
  6. Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Removal.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Installation.
  2. Install the starter motor. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement.
  3. Install the air conditioning (A/C) drive belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement.
  4. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory.
  5. Install the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement.
  6. Connect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
