Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 394459 Size: SH
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the 2 bolts securing the transmission heat shield to the transmission.
  3. Remove the transmission heat shield from the transmission.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 394459 Size: SH
  1. Install the transmission heat shield to the transmission.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 2 bolts securing the transmission heat shield to the transmission and tighten to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).
  3. Lower the vehicle.
