Makes 🢒 Isuzu 🢒 2009 🢒 Ascender - 2WD 🢒 Body Repair 🢒 Bumpers and Fascias 🢒 Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the spare tire carrier. Refer to Spare Wheel Hoist Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 752485 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the trailer/towing receptacle electrical connector.
  4. Rotate the trailer/towing receptacle assembly counterclockwise and remove from the vehicle.

    5. Object Number: 752281 Size: SH
  5. Remove the 4 rearward bolts that retain the impact bar assembly to the frame rails.
  6. While an assistant holds the impact bar (1) assembly in place, remove the remaining 2 retaining bolts.
  7. Remove the impact bar (1) assembly from the vehicle with an assistant.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 752281 Size: SH
  1. Position the impact bar (1) assembly to the vehicle with an assistant.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts that retain the rear impact bar to the frame.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the rear impact bar bolts to 364 N·m (268 lb ft).

  3. Install the trailer/towing receptacle assembly to the bracket and rotate clockwise until fully seated.
  4. Connect the trailer/towing receptacle electrical connector.
  5. Install the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  6. Install the spare tire carrier. Refer to Spare Wheel Hoist Replacement.
