Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 744320  Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the stabilizer shaft link to stabilizer shaft retaining nut.

  3. Object Number: 731562  Size: SH
  4. Remove the stabilizer shaft link to lower control arm retaining nut.
  5. Notice: Do not pry on the stabilizer shaft link. Use care when removing or installing the stabilizer shaft link in order to avoid tearing or puncturing the stabilizer shaft link boot. Damage to the stabilizer shaft link boot will lead to damage to the stabilizer shaft link.

  6. Remove the stabilizer shaft link and washer.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 731562  Size: SH

    Important: There is a washer between the stabilizer shaft link and the lower control arm made of harded steel and has a felt inner liner. Only replace this washer with an identical washer, standard washers should not be used.

  1. Install the stabilizer shaft link and the washer to the lower control arm.
  2. Install the stabilizer shaft link to lower control arm retaining nut.

  3. Object Number: 744320  Size: SH
  4. Install the stabilizer shaft link to the stabilizer shaft.
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the stabilizer shaft link to stabilizer shaft retaining nut.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the stabilizer shaft retaining nuts to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).

  8. Lower the vehicle.
