Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1237913 Size: SH
  1. Open the end gate.
  2. Remove the screws retaining the back of the moveable roof panel to the moveable roof assembly.
  3. Remove the front lock pins retaining the front of the moveable roof panel to the moveable roof assembly.

    4. Object Number: 1227001 Size: SH
  4. Slide the roof panel forward approximately 15 cm (6 in).

    5. Important: Be careful not to scratch or chip the paint.

  5. Lift up the rear of the roof panel and rotate the rear of the panel to release the moveable roof panel bushings (1) from the tracks of the moveable roof frame assembly.
  6. Remove the panel from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Install the front lock pins to the moveable roof panel.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the front lock pins to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  2. Operate the moveable roof until the drive slides lift up and begin moving forward.

    Important: Be careful not to scratch or chip the paint.

  3. Install the roof panel to the vehicle.
  4. Install the moveable roof panel bushings into the track of the moveable roof frame assembly.
    5. 4.1. Insert one of the roof panel bushings into the track.
    4.2. Rotate the panel until the other roof panel bushing can be inserted into the track of the roof frame assembly.
    4.3. Straighten the panel to retain the roof panel into the tracks.

  5. Lower the rear of the roof panel down onto the rear roof panel brackets.
  6. Install the screws retaining the roof panel to the rear roof panel brackets.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 5.5 N·m (49 lb in).

  7. Close the moveable roof panel and verify proper fit and operation.
