Rear Window Wiper Blade Replacement XUV

1. Place the wiper arm in the mid-wipe position.




Important: Do not allow the wiper arm to fall back and strike the end gate.

2. Lift the wiper arm off the park ramp.

Important: The wiper blade attaches to the wiper arm by the use of a cam-type attachment.

3. Move the blade in a horizontal position to the arm (2) and push the blade (1) away from the wiper arm in order to release.
4. Remove the wiper blade from the wiper arm.

1. Position the wiper blade in a horizontal position to the slot (2) in the wiper arm.



2. Hold the wiper arm and apply inward pressure to the wiper arm (1) in order to secure the wiper blade (3) to the wiper arm.
3. Carefully lower the wiper arm and blade onto the end gate glass.
4. Park the rear wiper arm.

Important: Do not allow the wiper arm to fall back and strike the liftgate.

1. Lift the wiper arm off the park ramp.
2. Push in the locking tab of the wiper blade clip and pull downward on the wiper arm blade.



3. Remove the wiper blade from the inside radius of the wiper arm.
4. Bring the wiper arm out through the opening in the wiper blade.

1. Insert the hook of the wiper arm through the opening in the wiper blade.
2. Position the wiper blade in the inside radius of the wiper arm hook.



3. Pull upward until the locking tab of the pivot engages the slot in the hook.
4. Carefully lower the wiper arm and blade onto the park ramp.
