BCM Scan Tool Data Definitions

Front Wiper Switch: The scan tool displays ON or OFF. When the windshield wiper/washer switch is turned to the mist, wash, low, or high positions the scan tool displays ON. When the switch is turned to the delay positions from low the scan tool continues to display ON. Anytime the switch is in the off position the scan tool displays OFF.

Headlamp Wash (input): The scan tool displays ON or OFF. The tool displays ON when the output is active and OFF when the output is inactive.

Headlamp Wash (output): The scan tool displays ON or OFF. The tool displays ON when the output is active and OFF when the output is inactive.

Rear Washer Requested: The scan tool displays YES or NO. The scan tool displays YES when it has received a confirmation message from LGM/EGM to activate the rear washer.

LGM Scan Tool Data List

Rear Wiper Mode: The scan tool displays OFF, DELAY 1, DELAY 2, ON, or WASH. The scan tool displays the commanded state of the rear wiper motor by the liftgate control module.

Requested Rear Wiper: The scan tool displays OFF, DELAY 1, DELAY 2, ON, or WASH. The scan tool displays the current rear wiper switch position determined by the switch position data received by the liftgate control module from body control module.

Lower Left Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays the state of the switch.

Upper Left Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays the state of the switch.

Upper Right Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays the state of the switch.

EGM Scan Tool Data List

Rear Wiper: The scan tool displays Park/Active. The scan tool displays the input state of the rear window motor park signal.

Requested Rear Wiper: The scan tool displays OFF, DELAY 1, DELAY 2, ON, or WASH. The scan tool displays the current rear wiper switch position determined by the switch position data received by the liftgate control module from body control module.

Requested Wiper Relay Cmd.: The scan tool displays OFF, DELAY 1, DELAY 2, ON, or WASH. The scan tool displays the commanded state of the rear wiper motor by the EGM.

Lower Left Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays the state of the lower left ajar switch.

Upper Left Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays the state of the upper left ajar switch.

Upper Right Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays the state of the upper right ajar switch.

Upper Left Dome Lamp Switch: The scan tool displays the state of the upper left dome switch.
