Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement GMC/Chevrolet

1. Remove the floor console. Refer to Console Replacement.
2. Remove the 4 screws that retain the closeout panel to the instrument panel (I/P) substrate.
3. Remove the closeout panel from the vehicle.

1. Install the closeout panel to the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the 4 screws that retain the closeout panel to the I/P.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).

3. Install the floor console. Refer to Console Replacement.
