Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1350709 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1764736 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors from the ignition coils.

    3. Object Number: 1764803 Size: SH
  3. Remove the ignition coil bolts.
  4. Remove the ignition coils from the camshaft cover.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1764803 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure the ignition coil seals are properly seated to the camshaft cover.

  1. Install the ignition coils into the camshaft cover.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the ignition coil bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors to the ignition coils.
  4. Install the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct Replacement.
